About Komodo 9 Chess Engine
Komodo 9 is the latest release of this prize-winning chess engine. Komodo 9 is an improvement over all previous Komodo versions and supports multi-core processors (32- and 64-bit) and endgame tablebases.

Komodo has won highly respected engine tournaments such as TCEC and CCT. On desktop computers, Komodo 9 is approximately +50 Elo stronger than Komodo 8 on one core according to the independent IPON test as well as our own internal testing, with the gain increasing with more cores, to about 60 Elo on 4 cores based on our own tests.
Komodo 9 is expected to obtain the top rating on the majority of the best-known chess engine rating lists. Previous versions of Komodo have won highly respected engine tournaments such as TCEC and CCT.

Doesn't work with my Analyze This! It did at first, but no longer does. Always comes up with some error message.

I find that Kokomo 9 has a slightly lower speed than Stockfish 7, but it "knows" which lines are important, and finds a mate-in-15, whereas Stockfish misses it - even having "searched" to a much deeper level. Selective pruning of trees is exceedingly challenging, but Kokomo 9 has bragging rights here. This is a good buy!

I played droidfish with stockfish7 to test this version, do you know how it feels when you are happy (that you bought komodo 9. 42 ) but lost to a free stockfish7? I think im generous to rate 4.

This Engine is very very strong! My strength is around 1900 FIDE. And yet level 1 is very difficult to beat. Using Chess for Android.

Hi! It's an excellent engine, on par or slightly better than stockfish 7. But, this is Komodo 9.3. It's time you upgrade it to Komodo 9.42 which is the newest and better version. You don't upgrade the app since months now, so it is about time to do it. Thanks!

Around 2000-2300 knps on 8 cores (the deeper it gets it slightly slows down i guess due to heat). Outperforms stockfish

Fantastic chess engine. You can't judge this engine by reviews from people who are angry because they payed for it. Their reviews are not based on something being wrong with the app. Just being childish and personal.
