L’antico quartiere Castello, nel cuore di Cagliari, è infestato dai demoni. La città è sull’orlo del baratro e l’unica speranza di salvezza è nelle tue mani. L'eroe sei tu ma dovrai mettere in campo tutte le tue forze. Ad aiutarti ci saranno gli antichi monumenti della città che si animeranno grazie alla realtà aumentata del tuo smartphone. La sfida che ti attende sarà tutt'altro che facile: per risolvere gli enigmi e accrescere la tua conoscenza servirà tutto il tuo ingegno. Solo così potrai liberare Cagliari.

Discover Cagliari è una avventura in realtà aumentata. La città è attaccata dai demoni ma una antica società segreta ha disseminato il quartiere di Castello di difese magiche in corrispondenza dei principali monumenti storici. Il giocatore deve attivare il maggior numero di difese per garantire la salvezza della città.

Ogni monumento rappresenta un sigillo di difesa. Per attivarlo occorre inquadrarlo con la fotocamera dello smartphone e interagire con esso attraverso il touch screen. Ma non è tutto. Ogni sigillo porta con se un enigma che il giocatore dovrà risolvere se vorrà attivarlo.

A disposizione del giocatore una mappa del quartiere di Castello, con la posizione dei monumenti ai quali corrisponde un sigillo di difesa, e un taccuino pieno di appunti presi da uno studioso, contente utili informazioni per la soluzione degli enigmi.

Discover Cagliari non è solo un gioco divertente che ti permette di rivivere le avventure tipiche della narrativa archeo-thriller, ma anche un modo nuovo per compiere una breve visita turistica del quartiere di Castello. Discover Cagliari is an adventure in augmented reality. The city is attacked by demons but an ancient secret society has the Castello district littered with magical defenses at the main historical monuments. The player must enable the greatest number of defenses to ensure the salvation of the city.

Each monument is a seal of defense. To enable it, frame it with your smartphone camera and interact with it through the touch screen. But that's not all. Every seal carries a puzzle that the player will have to solve if they are to activate it.

It offers the player a map of the district of Castello, with the monuments position to which corresponds a seal of defense, and a notebook full of notes taken by a scholar, containing useful information for the solution of the puzzles.

Discover Cagliari is not only a fun game that allows you to relive the typical adventures of archaeo-fiction thriller, but also a new way to make a short sightseeing tour of the Castello district. Playing with Discover Cagliari you will have the opportunity to see the main sites of the medieval quarter, but also to see some sights that do not appear in the guides.
