I found that buildings make some effect. The error is only 2m. But I hope to add new feature let us to make a new reference 'zeroing' our actual level beside sea water level.. + or - . I mean to reset the zero level and make start from y actual level instead or beside sea water level.

Did not work on my Droid Turbo altitude was way off

Drove to 18500ft. I.e. Khardunga pass. accuracy differed by 400ft

This is a solid app and the option to select what source if altitude to use is great, my biggest problem is the lack of a way to manually calibrate the barometer, it being automatic is great and all but when you're in the middle of nowhere without Internet connection automatic calibration is useless. Really hope that this feature is added in the feature.. Edit: extra star for dev replying.

I can't see where to calibrate it? Any help?

My great and useful app.

Drove from sea level to 5000ft. App matched road signs within 20ft. Impressive.. BUT...this thing is running behind the scenes doing Lord knows what sucking the battery big time and removed.. Downgrading my review.

Perfect!!!

Seems to work well. Could be better. 1. The barometric altimeter has no facility to set a reference altitude. With barometric altimeters you should always be able to set a reference altitude to compensate for weather changes. Even my Casio Pathfinder watch lets me set a reference altitude. 2. It would seem to be a trivial expansion of features to see and log barometric pressure directly. You could then use this app as a barometer. 3. The app provides FOUR altimeter readings. Three at the bottom GPS, location, and barometric, and one main readout at the top. I expect the ones at the bottom to vary with each other somewhat, but what is the one at the top based on? It also varies from the three at the bottom and doesn't seem to correspond with any of them. I can't find any documentation on what it's based on.

it takes more than 20 minutes to show an altitude in 3G connection too than what happened with 2G connection.?? ******, please don't download.... too many advertising

It seems slow to update elevation but I believe it's the garbage sensors and lack of sensors in my 1st gen moto g. Good job love the photo idea should add options ie. Location of altitude text on the photo.

In a spot with a known elevation, this app was 120+ feet off. Not good.

I'm sitting on a boat at sea level and I have a reading of 51metres, I don't think so. Can't see any way of adjusting it. Would love it to work.

Notification dropdown likes to "freeze" with no way to clear it, leaving it permanently in your notification tray. Uninstalled.

gives precise height information. (just waiting until it stabilizes at a precise altitude.)

It would be a far better app if it did not keep turning itself on when not in use, and then draining the battery dead. As is, it is unsafe to leave it on the phone. It sucks batteries dry faster than malware.
