Great app, useful & well thought out. Also a life saver wen i forget to put my fone on vibrate wen my new born's sleeping. This app completly drops the volume ... to your set level ... automatically. Highly recommended for Android phones ... & slightly forgetful dads!

Needs to turn down notifications as well. Fix that and you get 5 stars

when a call comes in while the screen is on, the heads up notification is covered up by the volume panel that pops up when the volume is adjusted, which makes it hard to answer the call. The UI of the configuration app itself is also unintuitive. uninstalled.

Could you make it only work when the call is received? That way, battery would be preserved. Take a look at RD mute, it has the option to only work when the call comes!

Really like the idea and the user interface but it keeps stopping and needs to be started again after only a few hours.

Excellent Application

From what I can see, with a maximum sensitivity setting it can be pretty good at detecting the noise level and setting an appropriate ringer volume, BUT the problem is that too many times even though it sets a high volume number the ring just isn't loud, it sounds like a "1" (even though I've forbidden values lower than "5"). This unreliability makes it far less useful to me than it could be - I've missed a lot of calls while out on the street because of this bug. :/

Well, Samsung has the ability to higher the volume in pockets or bags, when it's just on ringing mode. The silent or mute mode disables to higher the volume even in pockets. These original features doesn't eat the battery in an android 4.1 Ice cream sandwich. Or my android 4.2 Jellybean, even KitKats see the same problem. Nice application but stop eating the battery like a lion eating his prey. My phone is not a prey for viruses, eating batteries or problems. Cool but fix the problem. 5 stars just if fixed

Don't work can't even hear ring with it on.

اگه عادت داشته باشید گوشی رو بذارید تو اتاق و برید بیرون، چون صدای زنگ رو کم میکنه، دیگه از دور نمیشنوید صداش رو؛ پس باید همیشه گوشیتون همراهتون باشه. بعد از مدتی خودش رو با شرایط شما هماهنگ میکنه ولی من تنظیمات دستی رو ترجیح دادم، مخصوصا که صدای زنگ گوشی های مختلف با هم فرق داره. پیشنهاد میکنم proximity رو فعال نکنید چون خیلی باتری مصرف میکنه، بدون اون همه چی خوبه.

Reboot helped after update, liking the app a lot

Works well but maybe for better battory life it would be better to only check the proximity sensor as a call comes in. If pocket mode is enabled then it seems to be on all the time.

Ate too much battery 11% over 15h

Just started using last night on my One S but so far I haven't had any issues. If possible, I would also like for it to adjust when receiving notifications, since I rarely get phone calls and ringer & notification volume is linked. Also, for the people who dislike the icon, some apps have option to show useful info as the icon like temp or batt %.. just an idea.

Works perfectly, author very responsive, both via email, and on XDA forum. All those leaving poor reviews: please take the time to contact the author first... The app works perfectly for many, so if it's not working for you, perhaps there is a simple fix.

Just downloaded to try it out. Will edit after sufficient test period. Edit: missing calls etc. Not sure i have it properly set .Still experimenting. Volume too low problems.

App works great, better than some unreliable equivalents. I also emailed the dev a few days ago to ask if it was supposed to start on boot. He replied that wasn't an option yet, and he emailed me again today to say it was now built in. Very good support, especially as it's free.

Just turns volume down. Won't turn it up.

I like the program . However this program freezes my phone every time I use it with Waze and I get a phone call. Galaxy S3.

The interface is really out of whack on my Motorola photon.

This is a great app to use especially in the office. Works very well. I just to had the lock the silent and noise values at the required positions and it has been working flawlessly. The developer is great at support. Responded to my email in 10 minutes and released the app with the fix within a few hours

But it drains the battery

Prior version, seemed like it would be a great app. Everything was functioning ... Latest version, Silence calibration not adjustable. Calibrates to zero (was 200). Not enjoying loud ringer again. May uninstall until fixed.

Using note 2. Have tried changing the settings a bazillion times and improving the calibration.

Have tried calibrating it many times, even manually tweaked the settings but still doesn't work as described. Lowers the volume in noisy places too and sometimes in silent areas pumps it up too much! A fix please! Otherwise a great attempt!
