Dragonfly Ireland is a mobile application that helps dragonfly observers discover and contribute to current research data with NBDC. This is a tool people can use to document and submit dragonfly sightings via email. With this technology platform, NBDC can use dragonfly observers to help build their database of dragonfly species. The observer can record their GPS co-ordinates, general location, quantity of dragonflies and email the sighting along with their name. Read on to find out how it all works.
