Compass 360 Pro Free

I was exhausted looking for a compass that works. I am happy to state that in fact this compass was working accurately without me even calibrating it and the icing on the cake which I have yet to see is that the developers of this app claims it can work without internet connection. I hope it continues to work this well and hope to see options for maps if possible (but if it will effect the effectiveness of this compass by all means leave it as it is

We took some teenagers to tour an MRI research lab. I wanted a compass to see the deflection of the "North" reading in the operators' room (Note: do NOT take a cell phone into the MRI room!) I was delighted to see that this app not only gives the compass reading, but also shows a numerical magnetic field strength reading, clearly showing the gradient of the magnetic field as we got closer to the window and door to the MRI room and magnet. We even geeked out testing the magnetic field on the outside of the building, through a brick wall! I'd like to see fewer ads, but still 5 stars. Great app - thanks!

I reserved judgement on this until i got into territory where i was certain of directions, ie. the Northeast coast of England. Here there's no doubt where North is. Put the sea to your right, and North is ahead, South behind you, etc. This app is accurate to within about 2 degrees, compared to a physical compass (adjusted for true North, vice magnetic). So i wouldn't rely on it in the hills, but as a quick reference in town, it's ok. Better than most. As they say, owt for nowt is a winner.

I am no longer the unstoppable & great explorer you once knew me to be. I am still thrilled to have this handy directional finder in such a convenient ap. I now know where each server and seller of spirits is within walking distance from me. (won't let me drive anymore) Stay thirsty my friends.

I'm directions challenged--in other words I have a talent for getting lost. Was going to buy a compass for my car but fortunately came across this nifty app first. Simple to use. Great for hiking, too. My phone goes wherever I do and now so does my compass. Kudos to the developer!

It has a bit of lag obviously beyond that I've found it useful. I'm currently looking for the ad free version but beyond that I have no other requirements, I would enjoy the additive of the compass being able to determine magnetic location without a mandatory paid for system that may or may not be there depending on the situation.

Simple, straightforward, tells you which direction you're going. Only drawback is nag messages to rate the app when you are driving and actually need a compass, and should not be interacting with your phone beyond glancing at the compass to make sure you're headed in the right general direction. I'm now lying in bed and hoping this takes care of that.

Was looking for a decent compass for android. Came across this one after trying 6 others. Free to use, tiny bar ads at the bottom don't interfere with the screen. Minor lag as the compass rotates (less than half a second) Nice overall, does exactly what it needs to.

I let it open after install and TRIED to shut it down. A pop up screen has button for "no", "five rating", and "exit". Press "no" and the popup comes back. THAT'S how this cheater gets his ratings. Compared to a lower-rated app, it is extremely unsteady and is inaccurate if you are off by the slightest from level. In short, this one sucks big time and the cheating on ratings should get this creep banned.

Hi Team, I have been using this app since 2months &it was working fine and useful too. But now after using a month or so, compass not working properly... If I turn mobile to west facing compass showing north face(actually it is west). Am using this app in Lenovozuk z1 mobile. Any suggestions or fixes??

Great app, as long as you are out doors and holding your device dead flat in accordance with the level indicators on the top left. Indoors, it looses some accuracy and outside of parameters it just spins. Once you have it flat and in a clear environment it is accurate and responsive

I use this to help me decide where I should plant my plants. It works great. It first I had trouble knowing if I was working it right. It would be nice if some examples were told so you know your using it correctly. But other than that, I love this app.

This compass app is horribly inaccurate. The problem lies in the fact that you must hold your tablet perfectly level. If it is ever so slightly tilted left, right, up, or down you can be off + or minus 30 degrees. I also found it 10 degress off from another compass app. Which one is correct? Grade = F. Uninstalled. UPDATE: Just installed it on my phone and it shows north when I I am pointed east. To get north I have to point my phone at thr ground. Worthless.

I have downloaded and tried a few compass. It seems this one is the best so far. At least, the North won't keep changing when I move around. As a compass, it's accurence is the most important thing. When it really can save my life, I come back to give a 5-star

This app almost never pointed anywhere near North. I don't know how it can be misused. Often it would continue to point toward the top of the screen no matter which way I turned. Clearly not getting the same results as many others.

This app works great. I was out looking for where the super moon was setting and it takes a get minutes to establish north but then locks on and gives the degrees for me. I would give it a 5 but for the ads that are overly annoying. I'm using it on the dark and these stupid things star flashing on bright colors. Makes it hard to even use in the dark.

It is a very bad app that never works. All so if I did work I would still give it 1 star because it Tell's you to rate it 5 stars, every 3 Min's

It has everything to keep you not lost, and the navigation seems to be good. Only the language switch translates are bad. In English I had no trouble understanding though. Must have for explorers like me!

I know the general directions at my house. I find using this compass that for the last 50 years the sun has risen in the northwest and set in the southeast. I suspect the rotation of the earth is right and the compass is wrong.

Have liked it on previous phones. Then on my new phone, it was repeatably about 65 degrees off. Left a 2 star review. Then got smart and loaded a different compass app which displayed identical error. So compass 360 pro goes back to 5 stars and the phone goes back to the store.

I got lost in the devil gates dam 2 days ago and got me to the nearest trail but when i got to a certen point the compass went crazy witch was 118N to 23.5 south it when crazy pleas fix

I downloaded this app on my sons phone and explained how to use it. Two weeks ago he was hiking with two of his friends...they were typical boys and went exploring. As it started getting dark, they realized they were lost. After wandering around for a bit, my son called me. I told him to stay calm and reminded him to use the compass and a map app to get to the nearest road. 20 minutes later, i got a call from a very excited young man who needed me to pick him up. THANK YOU FOR BRINGING HIM HOME.

Very handy while driving my rig after dark down 2 lane backgrounds and needing to know which direction to turn... alot of reviews staying there are too many ads... I only get hit with an ad while attempting to change the face or clicking other options internally. But never once has an ad just "Popped up" with normal use. Thanks for the great app guys and gals. Keep up the good work!!

I was wanting a simple compass to show directions, and that is just what it does. For all those people complaining about the ads, that is what keeps apps FREE. If you don't like them find a paid version! It might be helpful if you read the help section, located next to the settings icon.

This compass, when compared to Google Maps or MapQuest and one other compass app, is very good. DO NOT use near any electrical outlet, especially those w tranformers to charge phones, tabs, etc. That field will mess up sensor results. The built in "level" can be really helpful.

Since downloading this software application, I haven't gotten lost. It's nice. In fact, it's so nice I threw my old compass in the river. If you have a compass, smash it and download this mobile software application. It works perfectly... As long as your battery doesn't go dead. The compass I threw in the river didn't require a battery.

Compasses tell you what direction in which you are traveling! Boats and airplanes could use this brand new technology so they don't just sail and fly around all nimbly bimbly like! Ha! Just kidding. Great app, thank you developers! Excellent job. Nerds rule.

So I turned on the App and saw the direction of north. Wanted to have a little fun so I slowly rotated my phone 360d just to watch the Red "N" stay in its fixed position. It rotated with the phone...which way is up? Bogus.

When I checked it against an analog hikers compass, it was 20 degrees off of North in either mode. Not a reliable model when you need your sense of direction intact. Relying on this could get you lost when compared to a good compass. Invest in something like the Silva Ranger 515 Compass.

The compass is fine and I don't mind adverts as such, it pays for the app after all. What I object to is ads, flashing red and white so it's very difficult to blank out, telling my phone is infected and to click to scan and remove viruses. Letting scammers advertise with you makes me distrust and be disgusted by you.

Same place, points at a different direction every week. Then I hate apps that won't quit popping up requests for 5 stars rating. There are better apps around than those having a high rating just because giving them 5 stars is the only way they quit bothering you.

It has 0° and 360° as different values on the readout.. As a result, it calculates for 361 degrees in a circle. That said, this is a good app, and I'm happy with the sensitivity and design. Easy to use and reliable.

This is the best, simplest, & most accurate compass I have tried. Other compass apps either didn't work or was too complicated. If you want a compass app that is easy to use & gives gps coordinates then this is the app for you. Thank you for such a great app!

Overall great app...also very accurate gives a lot of info such as readings of magnetic field and difference in degrees. Just the fact that I sometimes accidently click on ads is very irritating...reduce advertisements and watch the rise in ratings ;)

Compas level is not calibrated properly and theres no opton in-app to re-calibrate the sensor. Compas constantly moves when device is laying on a flat surface with nothing to make it move. Ui looks nice tho.
