Screen Time Companion App

My kid seemed addicted and was constantly on the android playing apps. He was extremely disagreeable and unhelpful if he wasnt on it. As soon as I restricted his time and put in the tasks to work for more time, things were great. He liked the tasks but hated running out of time. Parent star 5, Kid star 1 improvement in bahavior 5

As a child i hate it so 1 star... BUT it works perfectly. May i say i am 14 and when you are that old, you use technology more so it REALLY gives the whole family a bad mood when everyone is arguing. This IS NOT RECOMMENDED for those who are in about... 7th or 8th grade. Mostly not recommended for teens is what i am basically saying. Don't make your children hate you. PLEASE.

Great app. Its no substitute for talking with your kids about their screen time. Took a little bit too set up, the kids kept finding holes but once done it has been a breeze. Love the task functionality, we only give the kids 30 minutes to start with but through tasks, one of which is behaving, they can get upto 2 hours

Takes the stress out of setting limits. The app saves us arguments as online time is fairly allocated and not open to daily interpretation.

Don't use it on kids older than 14 or 15, that's just wrong (and will most likely make them bear a grudge or do something bad) otherwise, its a good app for misbehaved children. Don't limit them too much, as excessive blocking makes children more aggressive.

It breaks apart the family the kids get mad at the parents and rebel, and then the parents pull the leash tighter which makes the kids rebel worse ect. Another words it only destroys the family unless you have super obedient children, but if you do why are you getting this app.....

I want to be able to encourage educational games and automatically reward with any game. So if my son does 15 min of educational games they can play 15 min of any game. Or some ratio.

I hate this app because it works so well. I understand that I need my rest and it keeps me off my tablet all night.

Causes a rift between parent and child. And, almost as bad, almost halves battery life.

Did not work on my kid's phones.

I hate it my parents use it on me and I am very disappointed in people who made this app to torture kids

Worst app ever. I recomand this app to be deleted forever. Devores and slow my phone down

I've had Screen Time for a while now. I have it installed on 2 of my 3 kids' phones & 1 tablet. They each have Android phones/tablet. ST works great on the Android devices. My 3rd kid recently went from an Android phone to now an iPhone. While reviewing this app, I noticed how it's supposed to be compatible with both Android & Apple devices. Well let me just say, it is not compatible with Apple devices at all. ST interrupts/kicks you off whatever you're looking at every 5 minutes & deletes your existing apps in the process. You have to open the locked ST icon & follow tedious steps to retrieve the deleted apps. Again keeping in mind this happens every 5 minutes. When did work, there is not an option to download the Companion ST app on the iPhone. You cannot limit specific apps (every app is a part of the limit) or block any apps nor can you see their web search history. This would be 5 Stars if it worked for both Android & Apple like it specifies but giving only 2 because ST only works on Android. Frustrated having paid for a subscription to an app that doesn't live up to its description.

I hate this! This made my daughter so angry at me! She would swear and yell at me! She committed suicide!!!

This app is way too restrictive. Ruins bond between parents and children, and tempers go high. Don't get this app.

As a kid obviously I would prefer not to have it but when you get used to it its not that bad. Also it turns my phone off during school so I don't get my phone confiscated so much

This app made my 11 year old boy use his phone more to try to get this app off

My parents restricted me to 15 minuates a day, it does it's job though.
