When I saw this app I was excited to see it and when I encountered a problem, I report it. The app works exactly as expected, unfortunately Sac County didn't perform very well. The case that I reported wasn't at either a commercial or residential address. There was a vacant lot on one side of the street and a light rail station on the other. I selected the option to use my current location. The case was closed without good reason. I just think they are waisting our tax dollars. Read case 82459...

My case got closed because of "invalid Address" even when it was valid. The app captures it via GPS! When I asked for why they think its invalid guess what the response was? Case closed, invalid address. I asked for a phone number. I got a response case closed, invalid address. So if you just want to get frustrated use the app. I saw other cases where people reported broken unregistered cars on peoples front lawns and their response was case closed, didn't provide contact information. Are you kidding me!

If you want to use the "current location" option, you have to be literally in front of the violation address for GPS and cell phone towers to properly triangulate the location. Otherwise, if you take a picture across the street or from next door, it will pick up the wrong address. The best way is to manually enter the address in question. This will save time and money since County will know the precise address to abate the alleged violations.
