Automate your permission checking.
Permission Monitor Free allows you to monitor you applications based on your preferences.
Once installed you can define suspicious permissions and permission sets. The next time you install an application with those suspicious permissions (sets), the monitor will notify you.
Never again you will need to check permissions of applications you want to download. Let Permission Monitor do that for you!

Uses AdMob, Adsense, & Google Analytics. Has net & Phone state & ID Perms Usually this is the trifecta of privacy breach (Ads+Net+Phone State&Id). However after scanning with another app, no code was found (in the .dex file) that looks for personal info. So the ads you get are no different than what we used to watch on the Broadcast Network Stations with rabbit ears. And more importantly none of the ad companies, or analytics collect any ID info, only that which the app it self generates. Excellent App!!! Works well on AT&T Moto ATRIX 4G (2.3.6)

I've used a couple weeks now, after finding on XDA. worth supporting a ad or two. Hardly any footprint. shows permissions that apps don't list.

Refuses to start without internet access. Horrible, bad decision. Uninstall and never look back.

gallery photos, videos, widgets on screen lost. Yesterday i activated this app and set permissions on gallery, screen capture, camera etc. This morning, all lost. Unable to take photos, screen capture.
