Aviation Weather with Decoder

Quick and easy to use. Crosswind calculator has never worked, says IACO/IATA dictionary not installed but no way of installing it that I found. Also would be nice to customise highlighting of Vis/ceiling in METAR/TAF (ex. LIFR,IFR,VFR etc)

NOAA Aviation Weather changed to an HTTPS format on 02/22/2018. I posted what was a request to update the app on 02/24/18. The app maker updated it the next day. Impressive! Review updated from one (1) star.

This has been a great app for years but it stopped working yesterday. Now just gives blank pages.

After reading recent reviews was dubious about updating. Have used this app for several years and really like it. The recent update now allows me to check wx at Lord Howe Is. previously entering LDH would bring up KATL which wasn't helpful. Steve has been very good at responding to emails at various times.

Latest updates cannot find METAR/TAFs for any non-American airports.

New update make it crashed. Please fix it.

Crosswind cannot be cancelled permanently always comes again. Some airports in Morocco missing, before were available.

Downgrade to 2* until due to lots of missing data. After a bug some METARs are back but swathes are not! Any airport that does not have a canoe TAF seems to be missing METAR data. Sites that have METARs on ADDS and similar sites are not showing here (when they used to). Tried querying around KICT this morning and the majority of airports were missing, yet all display on other sites. Side note... Would be good to color code METARs & TAFs by LIFR/IFR etc based on the combination of ceiling and vis.

Brilliant app, metar recently stopped working but fixed quickly. I've used this for years in a commercial environment, highly recommended. A*****

A great little weather app, especially compared to others in Google Play store. First of all, it has no irritating pop up ads. The METAR and TAF are relatively quick to load, it sorts your favourites automatically by name, and even has handy extras like volmet frequencies and snowtam decoders. I'm a commercial pilot and use it daily. A big thumbs up to the author for a genuinely handy app.

Best aviation WX app, used daily by professional. A lot of care taken of little things, e.g. automatic caps lock for input.

Briefly dropped rating as it broke for a while, showed Euro TAFs and METARs fine but US ones weren't working. Latest updated has addressed the issue so back to 5* , this is generally my goto app though I do like the instrument flight rules that some others show that this does not

Had ver 5.5 and did the update (on 5-20-15) thinking it would be better. Metar's and Taf's stopped loading and was only showing notams. Developer corrected issue with ver 5.7 update on 5-26-15. It now works perfectly. Fast, simple, uncomplicated. Back to 5 stars Thank you

Can't use it at all in South Africa

Perfect.

It was working perfectly up to version 5.5 I believe. Nothing fancy but just what you need for a quick preflight weather check. Now I accidentally updated it to last version and it doesn't retrieve any metar nor taf anymore.
