About Andruino

> Integrate easily your Arduino projects with mobile devices based on Google Android such as smartphones and tablets
> Build from simple projects (as toys) to more advanced and robust projects (as robotic platforms and home automation) without worrying about programming the Android mobile device that will control all the features of your Arduino project
> Send information for your projects Arduino through action buttons, voice recognition commands, sent messages to Twitter and received SMS messages
> Create your own interface interaction in Andruino by adding buttons and components dynamically, riding the "remote control" for your Arduino project the way you want

* First you must enable, search for and pair the Bluetooth modules using the native settings menu.

The Andruino, junction of the names "Android" and "Arduino", is an application developed in order to facilitate the implementation and integration project-electronic digital with mobile devices, capable of sending data from your Android smartphone or tablet to an Arduino board through a connection with a Bluetooth module (for example, RS-232).

After the Bluetooth connection between the Android device and the Arduino project, you can dynamically add components to the application Andruino that can send data (text) to the Arduino board. There are four types of components that can send information from your Android device to an Arduino project:

> Action Button: Buttons that are added/created dynamically in the application interface of Andruino that can be enabled or disabled through a check-box and, when pressed, send data (text) from the Android mobile device to Arduino project. The data sent are configured during the creation of the component.

> Command Recognition for Voice: Components that are added dynamically in the application interface of Andruino that can be enabled or disabled through a check-box and, when pressed, displays a new screen that allows the user to speak/pronounce some command, by example "FORWARD", "RIGHT" or any other commands. Once the desired command is pronounced, the Andruino application will retrieve the word or phrase spoken, turning it into a set of data (text) and will send to the Arduino project.

> Twitter: Components that are added dynamically in the application interface of Andruino that can be enabled or disabled through a check-box and, when activated, causes the Andruino application start monitoring messages sent to a specific Twitter account and, when a new message or Tweet is published by mentioning that account, its contents (except the account name) is sent to the Arduino project. The monitored Twitter account is configured during the creation of the component. For example, when someone sends a message or Tweet with the description "@gcleva FORWARD" or "@gcleva RIGHT", the Andruino application, previously configured to monitor the account named "@gcleva", will send the information "FORWARD" and "RIGHT" to the Arduino project, disregarding the account name (@gcleva).

> SMS Message: Components that are added dynamically in the application interface of Andruino that can be enabled or disabled through a check-box and, when activated, causes the Andruino application start monitoring incoming SMS messages by mobile device and, by receiving a new message, the content is sent to the Arduino project.

To use the Command Recognition for Voice and Twitter components, the Android mobile device must be connected to a data network with Internet access.
To use the SMS Message component, the Android mobile device must be connected to a data network and/or telephony.
