HTC Will Release Android 4.4 KitKat Update for All US HTC One Models in Less Then 3 Months
Good news for all HTC One owners. Just a few hours after official release of Android 4.4 KitKat, HTC promised that all US models of the HTC One will receive the latest version of Android within three months. This comes directly from HTC’s President for America, Jason Mackenzie during an interview with Engadget.

The update will be rolling out in stages with the HTC One Google Play Edition being the first device to receive the update in the next two weeks. The unlocked models and Developer Edition will receive Android 4.4 with Sense 5.5 within 30 days, with the remaining US carrier branded versions of the HTC One scheduled to receive the update within 90 days.

we're not going to roll out updates in a lazy fashion. We're going to make it a priority to have every dot release out on the One within 90 days.
Jason Mackenzie - President, HTC America

Other HTC devices like the HTC One Max and HTC One Mini will get Android 4.4 soon, but no exact dates were given. As far for the international versions of the One, HTC is currently pushing the Android 4.3 on those devices, so they might not be getting the new update in the next 90 days.
